Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Walme, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Paulino Valiente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulino Valiente in the 6th minute. In the 10th play minute Paulino Valiente came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 1-0. In the 13th minute, Paulino Valiente made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Paulino Valiente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Valiente in the 15th minute of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Villa Lourdes FC's Paulino Valiente got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Paulino Valiente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 29 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rosendo Berto who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Villa Lourdes FC's Rosendo Berto to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Paulino Valiente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Villa Lourdes FC's Ildefonso Qwinton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Fabio Lordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Valiente in the 43rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulino Valiente to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Fabio Lordi in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Villa Lourdes FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute, Paulino Valiente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Valiente in the 60th minute of play. Paulino Valiente might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulino Valiente ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Villa Lourdes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Rameriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villa Lourdes FC's Nicanor Lluterio was substituted for Mauro Walme. Villa Lourdes FC's Dominic Pastor was substituted for Paulino Valiente. Dominic Pastor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After 74 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. 80 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Dominic Pastor came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Fabio Lordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute Silverio Mitxaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Silverio Mitxaut was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villa Lourdes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Silverio Mitxaut kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Villa Lourdes FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
