Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. MEXACOMX's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Januário Rangel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 9th minute, Ricardo Guerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 15 minutes, Ricardo Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MEXACOMX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Guerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute Ricardo Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Guerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. When MEXACOMX's Ricardo Guerra in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Ricardo Guerra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the game, Joaquin Sedillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MEXACOMX's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save MEXACOMX from getting a goal against them. A collision led to MEXACOMX getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Wu Liang Mo hit a great ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's Ricardo Guerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 42 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Julio-César Romo-Leroux who took care of the corner kick. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Januário Rangel having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

When Ricardo Guerra came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the MEXACOMX fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Guerra couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute, Ricardo Guerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Guerra in the 62nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Januário Rangel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Januário Rangel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 71st minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Januário Rangel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Guerra's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. 76 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Januário Rangel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Januário Rangel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wu Liang Mo during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 83 played minutes MEXACOMX got a freekick which was hit by Wu Liang Mo. Ricardo Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. MEXACOMX's Fryderyk Gierlach was substituted for Cláudio Leite. In the 87th minute, Ricardo Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 90th minute of play forced MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Januário Rangel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Januário Rangel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of MEXACOMX were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Ecuador side.
