Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Ignacy Bierfass however easily saved by the left post. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Ignacy Bierfass made a huge save. Camilo Gisbert's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Ignacy Bierfass skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Ignacy Bierfass made a huge save. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in 30 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wojciech Kluska to make the kick off. Ignacy Bierfass stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustín Saelices's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute.
