With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Crouch in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnold Szuper saved Szombathely Squirrels from getting behind. ZORZAL01's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pavel Nedvěd in the 8th minute. With an all-out effort, Szombathely Squirrels's Qin Fan Sheng threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lei Jian Xiong, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Szombathely Squirrels's Tivadar Demeter in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ZORZAL01's goalie prevented a goal. ZORZAL01's Qin Fan Sheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save ZORZAL01 from getting a goal against them. Arnold Szuper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Crouch, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bai Jun Chong in the 22nd minute of play forced ZORZAL01's goalkeeper Qin Fan Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amanda Almqvist made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tarmo Elken immediately put the ball in play. ZORZAL01's Qin Fan Sheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save ZORZAL01 from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes into the game, Szombathely Squirrels's Tivadar Demeter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Qin Fan Sheng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Qin Fan Sheng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lei Jian Xiong in the 29th minute. Qin Fan Sheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tivadar Demeter in the 31st minute of the match. Arnold Szuper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Crouch in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Szombathely Squirrels's Amanda Almqvist got a free kick in the 36th minute. Lei Jian Xiong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Qin Fan Sheng made a huge save. Lei Jian Xiong received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Qin Fan Sheng came out and tried to block the shot, but Lei Jian Xiong slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 39th minute. The supporters of ZORZAL01 booed when Szombathely Squirrels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Qin Fan Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bai Jun Chong in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peter Crouch to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Crouch came free, but Arnold Szuper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Peter Crouch took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Arnold Szuper to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, ZORZAL01's Ejner Neinvig got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tivadar Demeter in the 66th minute of play forced ZORZAL01's goalkeeper Qin Fan Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Szombathely Squirrels's Lei Jian Xiong got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute Tivadar Demeter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qin Fan Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by József Varga in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ZORZAL01's Vinicio Quilino. After a defensive mix-up in Szombathely Squirrels's zone, Ejner Neinvig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnold Szuper came out of the goal and Ejner Neinvig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the game, Tamás Szentesi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Qin Fan Sheng was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ejner Neinvig hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lei Jian Xiong in the 82nd minute of play forced ZORZAL01's goalkeeper Qin Fan Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Szombathely Squirrels's Luciano Aued got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Tamás Szentesi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to ZORZAL01 getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Ejner Neinvig hit a great ball. ZORZAL01's Qin Fan Sheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tivadar Demeter in the 98th minute of play.

For all the effort they put into the match, the ZORZAL01 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Szombathely Squirrels.
