Thomas Morera charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Morera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th minute, Paşa Bolas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Shepherd in the 9th minute of play. Rolando Ubarna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Pedro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnoldo Shepherd took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Navarro. Pedro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 20th minute, Arnoldo Shepherd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Vicente Enaut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tio Cabezon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Albano Quintyn notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Ciruel Academy's Pedro Navarro. Pedro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tio Cabezon in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Enaut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Ciruel Academy fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Ciruel Academy's Tio Cabezon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pedro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Quintyn in the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to DESTROY getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Delmar Tonio hit a great ball. DESTROY's Vicente Enaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tio Cabezon in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tio Cabezon in the 43rd minute of play forced DESTROY's goalkeeper Vicente Enaut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Enaut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tio Cabezon in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnoldo Shepherd to make the kick off. DESTROY's Vicente Enaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Puyol in the 82nd minute of play. In the 82nd minute, José Puyol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Enaut was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Rufo Azofra's late challenge caught a DESTROY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rufo Azofra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, Rufo Azofra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, DESTROY's Rogelio Munio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Vicente Enaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolomé Sabina in the 89th minute of the match. Bartolomé Sabina struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Vicente Enaut didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciruel Academy.

The DESTROY players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
