In the 5th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Rutkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When 2kC Poznań's Ulryk Merski in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. After 19 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Leoz. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulryk Merski in the 30th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Ulryk Merski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa, 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of 2kC Poznań's Tadeusz Rutkowski. Tadeusz Rutkowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, 2kC Poznań's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Janusz Pusiak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Leonardo Leoz hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Janusz Pusiak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as 2kC Poznań's Tytus Dylla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Lacasa. That made the score 2-2 after 45 minutes of play.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeusz Rutkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute, Ulryk Merski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 2kC Poznań's Lucjan Sokol was substituted for Ulryk Merski. 2kC Poznań made a substitution. Zachary Plaski replaced Stanislaw Kisielka. Ulryk Merski kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tadeusz Rutkowski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 2kC Poznań's Tadeusz Rutkowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save 2kC Poznań from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janusz Pusiak in the 68th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Janusz Pusiak notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Tytus Dylla fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 2kC Poznań's protests and gave Tytus Dylla a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, 2kC Poznań's Tytus Dylla got a free kick in the 74th minute. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tadeusz Rutkowski having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Sokol in the 76th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to 2kC Poznań getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Lucjan Sokol hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in 2kC Poznań's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeusz Rutkowski came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 2kC Poznań's Janusz Pusiak got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, Luca Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Tadeusz Rutkowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucjan Sokol struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 2kC Poznań. Tytus Dylla kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
