Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andriy Lunin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andriy Lunin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Montenegro went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Steffen Michalsky managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Antonio Indiano in the 52 minute of the game. After 54 minutes of play, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Niculae Ungureanu made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pascual Carballar was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Elodio in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. David Elodio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Axel Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Andriy Lunin could save by the left post. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. The throw-in from Steffen Michalsky in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. David Elodio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. After 73 minutes, David Elodio made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. David Elodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Indiano made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Steffen Michalsky. Thanks to some nice moves Abram Secada could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Andriy Lunin however easily saved by the left post. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Andriy Lunin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 84th minute of play. Abram Secada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andriy Lunin having to make a save. With a little luck, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Andriy Lunin got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abram Secada struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Andriy Lunin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. Niculae Ungureanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
