The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Sture Abrahamsson in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Nytäppet Fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Sture Abrahamsson threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Radomir Gerlach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 27 in the game by Lautaro Mancebo from a close distance when the talented Sture Abrahamsson managed to make a qualified save. Nytäppet Fc's players were relieved. After 30 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sture Abrahamsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Sture Abrahamsson made a huge save. The Mexico fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Mexico's Alberto Tafalla looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Dušan Vlahović made the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Sture Abrahamsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 60th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomir Gerlach, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nytäppet Fc's Beppe Lo Iacono was substituted for Radomir Gerlach. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nytäppet Fc! In the 73rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 78th minute of play forced Nytäppet Fc's goalkeeper Sture Abrahamsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luca Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Sture Abrahamsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 83rd minute of the match. Lorenzo Cazalla kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sture Abrahamsson. Nytäppet Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0.
