Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Ahrem in the 2nd minute of the match. After 97 minutes of play, USA's Sam Campbell made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paul Heyckendorf was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chants of Academica Pulheim echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as USA had held the ball for most of the match.
