Diego Bradley hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Atlético da Colina's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Hílton Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Bradley made in the 17th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Monty Rogers immediately put the ball in play. Hílton Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob May in the 18th minute of play. Marco Day was a little too slow when Justo Lukach got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. Hílton Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. The USA fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when USA's Cassius Byrne looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 33 minutes into the game, USA's Monty Rogers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hílton Dias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 36th minute, Atlético da Colina's Set Master ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marco Day. Marco Day yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Atlético da Colina's Gu Xiong Bang was substituted for Fernando Pacheco. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. In the 56th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hílton Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hílton Dias was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Monty Rogers capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Monty Rogers really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. In the 66th minute Set Master shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 played minutes Atlético da Colina got a freekick which was hit by Boyko Dandanov. Atlético da Colina made a substitution. Denílson Oliveira replaced Lucas Moura. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Sam Campbell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Diego Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético da Colina's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Campbell got free with Hílton Dias in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hílton Dias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sam Campbell in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 91st minute of play forced Atlético da Colina's goalkeeper Hílton Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. With 96 minutes on the clock, Koby Fletcher commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for USA! USA:s Marco Day showed great skill when he stopped Set Master:s penalty. USA played a much better game than Atlético da Colina and deserved their victory. The Atlético da Colina players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
