Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Edmundo Espiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Stoicii getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Felix Zbora hit a great ball. Olimpiu Oncescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 6th minute. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Aldulea in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Stoicii getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Tudor Baran hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Ştefan Nebunu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Aldulea, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Olimpiu Oncescu made a huge save. 26 minutes into the game, Ivan Navarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stoicii the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Popescu in the 28th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mugur Aldulea who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Stoicii's Mugur Aldulea to fire away a dangerous shot which Lautaro Navarro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 32 played minutes Stoicii got a freekick which was hit by Mugur Aldulea. In the 33rd minute Honduras were awarded a corner. Edmundo Espiga went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Edmundo Espiga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Stoicii's Olimpiu Oncescu did a great save. Olimpiu Oncescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Cabal, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Sebastian Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Olimpiu Oncescu in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Milagros Cabal kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Stoicii's Olimpiu Oncescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Stoicii from getting a goal against them.

Lautaro Navarro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Tafalla in the 62nd minute of play forced Stoicii's goalkeeper Olimpiu Oncescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. In the 75th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Cabal to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes in the game Alexandru Zaki did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Petruț Lovinescu. Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stoicii's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Edmundo Espiga put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Olimpiu Oncescu. When the referee ended the match the Honduras players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
