In the 2nd minute of the match, Csaba Takács tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ignaz Pisula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Márcio Leitão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zachary Piczak charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zachary Piczak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mexico's Xavier Seco was substituted for Facundo Cadaval. Ignaz Pisula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 12th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Dariusz Göldner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KF Trepça's Ignaz Pisula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 27th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ignaz Pisula was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mexico made a substitution. Jonathan Atenas replaced Lorenzo Cazalla. In the 34th match minute, KF Trepça was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachary Piczak to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 35th minute of play forced KF Trepça's goalkeeper Ignaz Pisula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute of the match, Csaba Takács tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after KF Trepça's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. In the 41st minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignaz Pisula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Csaba Takács kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. When Ferruccio Catapano fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KF Trepça's protests and gave Ferruccio Catapano a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to KF Trepça getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ferruccio Catapano hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of KF Trepça's Ignaz Pisula. Ignaz Pisula was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 55th minute of play forced KF Trepça's goalkeeper Ignaz Pisula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Ignaz Pisula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 71st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in KF Trepça's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignaz Pisula came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Ignaz Pisula however easily saved by the left post. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by KF Trepça's Thibaut Zengers. But to his dismay, Thibaut Zengers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
