The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Talha Mertkal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Kolonia Radlin's Talha Mertkal got control of the ball when Jan Dixon tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Canada's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Bergkamp came free, but Jax Williamson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Canada's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alfred John was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Canada's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. Talha Mertkal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Dixon, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 67 minutes in the game, Jan Dixon dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marek Bergkamp couldn't finish the play. Canada's Luka Harris managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Remzi Gaza in the 91 minute of the game. Talha Mertkal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filip Edwards's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Canada's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jan Dixon in the 96th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
