After 5 minutes of play, DARAS's Toni Nenchev made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 8th minute, Toni Nenchev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vute Baliev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 11th minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toni Nenchev went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Nenchev, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 20 minutes, Dragan Mangezov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DARAS and the El Salvador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes DARAS got a freekick which was hit by Dragan Mangezov. When Toni Nenchev came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the DARAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toni Nenchev couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marco Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Toni Nenchev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toni Nenchev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Volodya Biradzhiev during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, DARAS's Volodya Biradzhiev got a free kick in the 30th minute. Vute Baliev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toni Nenchev struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DARAS. In the 37th minute Gonzo Ivanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Volodya Biradzhiev got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ricardo Zorita quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Lorenzo Yepes got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The audience held their breath when Volodya Biradzhiev in the 44th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Ricardo Zorita's left hand side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toni Nenchev to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes in the game Jorge Magrina did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Abram Luque. In the 53rd minute, Moises Fernandino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as DARAS's Gonzo Ivanov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 0-4 after 54 minutes of play. DARAS made a substitution. Paolo Rossi replaced Toni Nenchev. 64 minutes into the game, Jorge Magrina threw the ball into play from the sideline. DARAS's Antim Karamanski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 68 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzo Ivanov came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Marco Tamayo got a free kick in the 68th minute. Volodya Biradzhiev hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Antim Karamanski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Gonzo Ivanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paolo Rossi got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. DARAS's Gonzo Ivanov got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. DARAS played a much better game than El Salvador and deserved their victory. The El Salvador players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
