Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Endre Austnes in the 5th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. Stewe's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Martial Vrijdag in the 9th minute. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hayden Burley in the 13th minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carel Van Hermenghem didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Carel Van Hermenghem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 31 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carel Van Hermenghem. Stewe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Lamar Delong. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Carel Van Hermenghem came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Carel Van Hermenghem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Stewe getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Quincy Wooten hit a great ball. Carel Van Hermenghem came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Endre Austnes to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carel Van Hermenghem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. With a little luck, Stewe's Carel Van Hermenghem got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hayden Burley's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Carel Van Hermenghem made a huge save. Martial Vrijdag fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Carel Van Hermenghem was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-5. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Edmund Keyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador played a much better game than Stewe and deserved their victory. The Stewe players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
