In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Calciatori FC's goalkeeper Argyris Loukoumakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Argyris Loukoumakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gökmen Ülkümen in the 40th minute of the match. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. If Ben Galea Testaferrata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Calciatori FC booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Fraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

It was a well-played corner which Milagros Fraga managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Argyris Loukoumakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Murillo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Argyris Loukoumakis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 66 minutes into the match, Calciatori FC's goalkeeper Argyris Loukoumakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milagros Fraga. Milagros Fraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Argyris Loukoumakis made a huge save. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Calciatori FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Peru's Eliseo Mina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Argyris Loukoumakis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Calciatori FC's Argyris Loukoumakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 70th minute of play forced Calciatori FC's goalkeeper Argyris Loukoumakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Argyris Loukoumakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. The corner led Peru's Alonso Berganza to fire away a dangerous shot which Argyris Loukoumakis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 80th minute of the match, Eliseo Mina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Argyris Loukoumakis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Calciatori FC's Argyris Loukoumakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Calciatori FC from getting a goal against them. Argyris Loukoumakis came out of the goal and Eliseo Mina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Calciatori FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Antoine Barbara hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the game, Rafael Gallo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Argyris Loukoumakis. Rafael Gallo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Peru played a much better game than Calciatori FC and deserved their victory. The Calciatori FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
