Cruz Credo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cruz Credo went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cruz Credo in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Cruz Credo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maravilla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Vasco Gentil made in the 25th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Godofredo Marin. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Cruz Credo took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. The throw-in from Vasco Gentil in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Maravilla booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When Godofredo Marin came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Maravilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godofredo Marin couldn't finish the play. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vasco Gentil in the 47 minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Cruz Credo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The supporters of Maravilla booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Maravilla's Cruz Credo in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Cruz Credo took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Cruz Credo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 77th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, Maravilla's Cruz Credo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. The audience was convinced that Cruz Credo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Cruz Credo took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. A collision led to Maravilla getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Vasco Gentil hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Maravilla were the better team. Maravilla's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
