Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 7 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Tavares notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Irinel Iliuță kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Gualter Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Gualter Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 20th minute of play forced Tigre das Américas's goalkeeper Gualter Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualter Pinheiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 played minutes Tigre das Américas got a freekick which was hit by Valério Queirós. After 26 played minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gualter Pinheiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mexico reached it. Joel Gaona's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Gualter Pinheiro on his right side and into the goal. 26 minutes into the game it was 1-1. After 32 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gualter Pinheiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Lidon Bernardo got free with Dante Lacasa in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tigre das Américas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raphael Madureira in the 38th minute. Tigre das Américas were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Raphael Madureira took the corner. Tigre das Américas's Raphael Madureira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gualter Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gualter Pinheiro having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Tavares in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alberto Tafalla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gualter Pinheiro was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. A collision led to Tigre das Américas getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Irinel Iliuță hit a great ball. Gualter Pinheiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 58th minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when Tigre das Américas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Washington Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liu Tian Zheng in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cadaval to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luca Rouco hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Tigre das Américas defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gualter Pinheiro. The Tigre das Américas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualter Pinheiro should have stopped the shot. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Gualter Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
