In the 15th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Bernal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Morningstar in the 18th minute of the match. After 19 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Soin Buisan who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Soin Buisan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Valentin Bernal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Soin Buisan went to the cornerflag to take it. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Dagoberto Moraes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A sloppy throw-in by Milagros Fraga in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Soin Buisan. 38 minutes into the match, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Valentin Bernal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Valentin Bernal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. After having played for 42 minutes, Igor Milko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Milko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Milko in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Igor Milko. But to his dismay, Igor Milko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Gayoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ made a substitution. Zé Carlos Madureira replaced Lucio Morningstar. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gilson Matorin in the 60 minute of the game. In the 97th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Reyes to maneuver through the defense. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
