A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ciro Pacifico quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. La Caprichosa FC's Ciro Pacifico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save La Caprichosa FC from getting a goal against them. La Caprichosa FC's Ricardo Osorio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radek Saska, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 38th minute of play forced La Caprichosa FC's goalkeeper Ciro Pacifico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Pacifico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Ciro Pacifico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. In the 51st minute Radek Saska shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, La Caprichosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Ciro Pacifico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after La Caprichosa FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Luca Zorita heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Radek Saska received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante Lacasa came out and tried to block the shot, but Radek Saska slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 58th minute. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Enaut in the 62nd minute of play. Ciro Pacifico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 64th minute of play. Armando Ascencio charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Ascencio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to La Caprichosa FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Armando Ascencio hit a great ball. With his leg Dante Lacasa managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when La Caprichosa FC's Leon Enaut fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when 姚旭翀 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Mexico booed when La Caprichosa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Ascencio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
