Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Gaona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Comunardo Caretti made a huge save. Comunardo Caretti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 15th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Facundo Cadaval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Comunardo Caretti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Comunardo Caretti. Lautaro Mancebo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 33rd minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Comunardo Caretti was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Joel Gaona got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 54th minute, Felice Genovesi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Comunardo Caretti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The audience was convinced that Lautaro Mancebo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Comunardo Caretti was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 74th minute of play forced Broom of the System DA13's goalkeeper Comunardo Caretti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Caretti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
