Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Edmundo Espiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luca Espinar's late challenge caught a BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luca Espinar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
The wind increased when Aloísio de Brito made the kick off in the second half. William Leme was a little too slow when Christian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 3-2. Edmundo Espigas short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got William Leme to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS made a substitution. Zé Carlos Sarmento replaced Gilmar Secco. Edmundo Espiga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, William Leme skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Christian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honduras's Christian Sancho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cafu Damião, made in the 94th minute of the game. The supporters of Honduras booed when BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honduras were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS to leave the ground with a draw.
