Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Margus Paukson scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-0. In the 7th minute, Matthias Vall reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 2-0. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the game, Acratas Unidos's Margus Paukson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Acratas Unidos's goalkeeper Carlitos Parodi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Vall, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Cristian Sancho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carlitos Parodi quite easily take care of the ball. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute Margus Paukson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Acratas Unidos were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
