The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of venturinha F.C.'s goalie and right to Juan Sebastián Puig. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. venturinha F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Alvaro Gai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Armando Lehoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Felix Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Lehoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Lehoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Armando Lehoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, venturinha F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Armando Lehoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after venturinha F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. In the 37th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Lehoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Saul Arano hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that venturinha F.C.'s Armando Lehoi managed to reach the ball for a save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esteban Fuertes made a kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Fuertes in the 54th minute of play. Armando Lehoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Lehoi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Primitivo Andino made in the 71st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cristian Sancho. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Armando Lehoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Lehoi was a little too slow when Felix Montenegro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-4. 81 minutes into the game, venturinha F.C.'s Rafael Borre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in venturinha F.C.'s zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Lehoi came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Armando Lehoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, venturinha F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Armando Lehoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador played a much better game than venturinha F.C. and deserved their victory. The venturinha F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
