Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Cefero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Marno F.C.'s goalkeeper Aldo Beltxe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aldo Beltxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Marno F.C.'s Aldo Beltxe. Aldo Beltxe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marno F.C.'s goalkeeper Aldo Beltxe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lázaro Cefero to strike the kick off in the second half. The Marno F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Beltxe should have stopped the shot. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
