In the 7th minute Guaberto Curcio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Yan de Sousa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 2-0. Yan de Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Armando Lehoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Eustaquio Gombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in venturinha F.C.'s zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Lehoi came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Curcio in the 21st minute of play. Elias Hartz kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute Guaberto Curcio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Lehoi having to interfere. The supporters of venturinha F.C. booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ciro Montrelle, made in the 51st minute of the game. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Esteban Fuertes put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 63rd minute, Guaberto Curcio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. venturinha F.C. made a substitution. Adriano Marchegiani replaced Guaberto Curcio. A throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game was made by Elias Hartz with Ciro Montrelle as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Lehoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 94th minute of the match Saul Arano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. venturinha F.C. fully deserved thier win.
