Arif Akçabay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 4th minute, Nizam Ruhsat reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 1-0. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Nizam Ruhsat tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Bayburt SK ☪ getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Aras İnanoğlu hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga got a free kick in the 13th minute. Bilge Temur took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atahan Tuyan in the 18th minute of the match. Nizam Ruhsat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, Ercan Kamil made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Nizam Ruhsat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Nizam Ruhsat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Nizam Ruhsat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nizam Ruhsat hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Arif Akçabay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Arif Akçabay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arif Akçabay came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig. But to his dismay, Lautaro Puig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After having played for 39 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nizam Ruhsat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atahan Tuyan in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Atahan Tuyan was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Bayburt SK ☪ getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Baybars Uzman hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the game, Juan Rubio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bayburt SK ☪ the free kick. 56 minutes into the match, Atahan Tuyan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atahan Tuyan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Ahmet Sedat Özkurt hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atahan Tuyan in the 61st minute of play. Bayburt SK ☪'s Atahan Tuyan got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nizam Ruhsat in the 74th minute of play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Nizam Ruhsat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Rubio got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 80th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nizam Ruhsat in the 85th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atahan Tuyan in the 96th minute of play. Bayburt SK ☪'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
