Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 55 minutes, Jorge Magrina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the ≮王者归来≯恒方FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 96 minutes of play El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Mateo Leguizamo hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. 99 minutes into the game, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 邵城云 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. El Salvador's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
