The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Rıfat Pekşen got free with Julio Vera in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Ahmet Rıfat Pekşen took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 26th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Suat Tanju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BLUEMOON FK's Meindert Lyle managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Primitivo Andino in the 27 minute of the game. When Primitivo Andino fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Primitivo Andino a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 32nd minute. If Deyver Son had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when BLUEMOON FK's Deyver Son in the 37th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Julio Vera was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Ecuador through an amazing save. 武战棋's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 42nd minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Suat Tanju skillfully saved the ball. Suat Tanju made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Rıfat Pekşen in the 55th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Ahmet Rıfat Pekşen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Rıfat Pekşen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 60th minute, Deyver Son ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Deyver Son blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Ali Emir Ramiz's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aktan İbiş in the 91st minute of play. In the 95th minute, Ahmet Rıfat Pekşen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but BLUEMOON FK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
