Ed 冯义南 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 17th minute of the match. In the 24th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ed 冯义南 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börje Bergfelt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 55 minutes into the game, Jardel Gaúcho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ed 冯义南 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 63 minutes, Alberto Tombak made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ed 冯义南 came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Alberto Tombak took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tombak in the 76th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luca Zorita in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ed 冯义南 saved 【粤】快乐的七七 from getting behind. In the 78th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Alberto Tafalla managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Gaona got free with Ed 冯义南 in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Gaúcho in the 85th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, 【粤】快乐的七七's 李希彬 got a free kick in the 87th minute. Facundo Cadaval could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Ed 冯义南 made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 李希彬 during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ed 冯义南, 4-4. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
