Colombia's Antonio Indiano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Xandro Oribe in the 18 minute of the game. In the 19th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Fuentes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Fuentes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Santiago Fuentes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Homero Simpson took the corner. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Epifanio Leceta went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Epifanio Leceta took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 63rd minute, Epifanio Leceta made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Epifanio Leceta might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Epifanio Leceta ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kevin Mastache got free with Santiago Fuentes in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ's Epifanio Leceta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ's Epifanio Leceta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donato Oliveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-2. Xandro Oribe made in the 91st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Abram Secada. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Santiago Fuentes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
