Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Adilson Breckenfeld tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angel Vito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Angel Vito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of the match. Adilson Breckenfeld struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crottos Crotters F.C.. 19 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Angel Vito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the match, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Martin Biörkman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Adilson Breckenfeld got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Adilson Breckenfeld hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Angel Vito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peng Xiong in the 35th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of play forced Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goalkeeper Angel Vito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Adilson Breckenfeld came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peng Xiong to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Solari, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peng Xiong in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Peng Xiong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Guido Socorro was substituted for Szilveszter Puja. 75 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Peng Xiong came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Benigno Elija left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crottos Crotters F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 82 played minutes, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Baldomero Mateo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Crottos Crotters F.C. reached it. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Elija in the 84th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peng Xiong, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crottos Crotters F.C. the free kick. After 95 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. In the 96th minute of the match Baldomero Mateo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Crottos Crotters F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
