Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Julian Murillo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Qin Ang Cheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Qin Ang Cheng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Qin Ang Cheng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Qin Ang Cheng had great luck who in the 74thth minute grab hold of the ball when Julian Murillo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 75 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Donatien Bidart came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donatien Bidart in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Milagros Fraga got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Samuel Aires, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Serafim Carreira in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Internacional de Lisboa's goalkeeper Qin Ang Cheng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antonio Tenorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Qin Ang Cheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Internacional de Lisboa supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
