Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lucas Ugutz made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Carapa FC's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Manny came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the match, Carapa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Braulio Manny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Ugutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Bonifacio Bazkoare was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carapa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. After a rather tough play, Carapa FC's Bonifacio Bazkoare got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Braulio Manny. Carapa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Ugutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when Carapa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Toppi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braulio Manny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carapa FC's goalkeeper Braulio Manny, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carapa FC's Braulio Manny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 21st minute of play. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Braulio Manny. Braulio Manny dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Carapa FC's Teofilo Gonzalez got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, Carapa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Hamnberg to maneuver through the defense. Braulio Manny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Carapa FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Carapa FC's goalie and right to Luca Rouco. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Carapa FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 38th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Manny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Leoz kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Braulio Manny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alain Marquez charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alain Marquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, Carapa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alain Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Braulio Manny was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Carapa FC's Braulio Manny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 54th minute of play. Carapa FC's Braulio Manny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Carapa FC from getting a goal against them. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Braulio Manny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Braulio Manny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 62nd minute of the match. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carapa FC made a substitution. Lázaro Ramone replaced Virgilio Laffitte. Braulio Manny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Braulio Manny was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Lucas Ugutz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. After 86 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Braulio Manny was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Carapa FC's Rangel Machev got a free kick in the 89th minute. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Facundo Cadaval got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Manny having to interfere.
