Fryderyk Budzynski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Jernberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Staffan Eckegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kryspin Lichniak in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kryspin Lichniak in the 37th minute of play forced G A I S's goalkeeper Staffan Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fryderyk Budzynski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norman Mabalane in the 40th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the game, Sixten Ekström threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Autolycus's Valentino Rossi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 52nd match minute, G A I S was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ty Scholes to maneuver through the defense. FC Autolycus's Maksymilian Kempski was substituted for Jacek Krzynowek. Maksymilian Kempski kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Pablo Viator might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Staffan Eckegren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pablo Viator ran back to his position shaking his head. Pablo Viator could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Staffan Eckegren made a huge save. Pablo Viator fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staffan Eckegren having to interfere. Fryderyk Budzynski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norman Mabalane, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, Sixten Ekström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Staffan Eckegren made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Pablo Viator sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute, Norman Mabalane ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fryderyk Budzynski was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 90 minutes into the match, FC Autolycus's Pablo Viator sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Staffan Eckegren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fryderyk Budzynski came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by G A I S's Norman Mabalane. But to his dismay, Norman Mabalane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, G A I S could leave the field as winners, despite FC Autolycus having more of the ball for most of the match.
