The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wen Bing Liang to strike the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Bihar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but János Moravecz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Robustiano Eron managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Julian Bentkowski in the 54 minute of the game. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's attentive Seçkin Öksüzoğlu managed to snatch the ball when Julian Bentkowski made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. János Moravecz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Bihar in the 63rd minute of play. Seçkin Öksüzoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match.
