Haroldo Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber Marinho in the 2nd minute of the match. Rafael Zaldua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Chaves having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cléber Marinho got free with Haroldo Chaves in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haroldo Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Zaldua, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Parfrente FC were furious when Válbson Breckenfeld was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of G A I S booed when Parfrente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válbson Breckenfeld didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Osmar Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Parfrente FC's Haroldo Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléber Marinho in the 17th minute of play. Haroldo Chaves made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Matthias Bern sent off a good shot on target. After 22 minutes Parfrente FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Matthias Bern who took care of the corner kick. 27 minutes into the match, Parfrente FC's goalkeeper Haroldo Chaves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matthias Bern. In the 29th minute, Cléber Marinho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Haroldo Chaves. The goal made the score 1-0. Haroldo Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléber Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Norman Mabalane cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Haroldo Chaves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Parfrente FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Rafael Zaldua scored to the left of an out of position Haroldo Chaves, making the score, 3-0. Haroldo Chaves came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by G A I S's Rafael Zaldua. But to his dismay, Rafael Zaldua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Haroldo Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norman Mabalane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haroldo Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléber Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute, Matthias Bern ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haroldo Chaves was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0.

G A I S's Staffan Eckegren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save G A I S from getting a goal against them. In the 53rd minute, Cléber Marinho made a precise shot to the right of Haroldo Chaves. Parfrente FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Haroldo Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléber Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Matthias Bern scored 7-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haroldo Chaves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute, Cléber Marinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The G A I S fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. After some careless play in the Parfrente FC defense, Cléber Marinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haroldo Chaves. The Parfrente FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haroldo Chaves should have stopped the shot. Haroldo Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Bern, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The G A I S fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when G A I S's Matthias Bern looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Parfrente FC's Haroldo Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléber Marinho in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th match minute, G A I S was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norman Mabalane to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Parfrente FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Matthias Bern was slow to take the kick. During this time G A I S's players had a chance to rest. Matthias Bern made a great header on G A I S's corner, it was just that Parfrente FC's Haroldo Chaves managed to reach the ball for a save. Norman Mabalane took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haroldo Chaves. Haroldo Chaves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Haroldo Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norman Mabalane, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Osmar Proença hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Parfrente FC's Joel Sarmento got a free kick in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Pontus Ström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Haroldo Chaves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléber Marinho in the 91st minute of play forced Parfrente FC's goalkeeper Haroldo Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Chaves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cléber Marinho went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. Haroldo Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norman Mabalane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the G A I S players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
