In the 7th minute Roland Laureys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Adelino Bastos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haroldo Chaves. Parfrente FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adelino Bastos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 29 minutes into the match, Parfrente FC's Murilo Alcântara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arkadiusz Smolarek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adelino Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Chaves having to interfere. Katowice i Kluczbork's Dimo Toresano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Diamantino Cosme, made in the 37th minute of the game. The supporters of Katowice i Kluczbork booed when Parfrente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osmar Proença didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Parfrente FC's zone, Roland Laureys stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo Chaves came out of the goal and Roland Laureys tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adelino Bastos hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Haroldo Chaves came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Katowice i Kluczbork's Roland Laureys. But to his dismay, Roland Laureys quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roland Laureys to strike the kick off in the second half. Parfrente FC's Haroldo Chaves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Parfrente FC from getting a goal against them. Adelino Bastos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Haroldo Chaves came out and tried to block the shot, but Adelino Bastos slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 57th minute. Katowice i Kluczbork's Bogdan Gabis was substituted for Juliusz Oryniak. After a defensive mix-up in Parfrente FC's zone, Adelino Bastos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo Chaves came out of the goal and Adelino Bastos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Julian Jaszcz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Chaves didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 69th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. Katowice i Kluczbork's Ryszard Murdza got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mazinho Queiroz during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Katowice i Kluczbork's Ryszard Murdza got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Roland Laureys had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haroldo Chaves. When Ryszard Murdza came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Katowice i Kluczbork fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryszard Murdza couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Julian Jaszcz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Haroldo Chaves. The goal made the score 0-6. Haroldo Chaves was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ryszard Murdza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 86 minute of play. If Roland Laureys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes Parfrente FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Julian Jaszcz who took care of the corner kick. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Ryszard Murdza took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Haroldo Chaves to make any attempt to save it.
