Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Koppány Bakos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Dávid Tóth capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dávid Tóth really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Puig in the 23rd minute of play forced LK Bulls's goalkeeper Alex Bodnár to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Vásárhelyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Carballo during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Koppány Bakos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when LK Bulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lajos Bodrogi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koppány Bakos in the 35th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Benito Sanz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Kozma in the 38th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Koppány Bakos in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. LK Bulls's Keanu Thomson got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koppány Bakos in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that LK Bulls were the better team. LK Bulls's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
