The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Anabolic Boys's Thor Lindström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thor Lindström in the 7th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thor Lindström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Anabolic Boys's Di Xuan Peng managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guillermo Mariano in the 13 minute of the game. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Anabolic Boys's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by King Elin in the 16th minute. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thor Lindström's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Thor Lindström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Anabolic Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, Thor Lindström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 3-0. Venezuela's attentive Jose Correa managed to snatch the ball when Ayberk Koca made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Joakim Hökkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chi-Chi Chi in the 35th minute of play. Thor Lindström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thor Lindström in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Thor Lindström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a little luck, Anabolic Boys's Joakim Hökkvist got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chi-Chi Chi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ayberk Koca struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anabolic Boys. Thor Lindström might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thor Lindström ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Thor Lindström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thor Lindström in the 67th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Thor Lindström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Thor Lindström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Thor Lindström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Chi-Chi Chi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Chi-Chi Chi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the game, Thor Lindström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. King Elin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anabolic Boys's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
