In the 9thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anabolic Boys's Elof Hellgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anabolic Boys's Elof Hellgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 12th minute. Viktor Josefsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Elof Hellgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Elof Hellgren. Anabolic Boys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anabolic Boys's Elof Hellgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elof Hellgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elof Hellgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Cristian Sancho sped through Anabolic Boys's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elof Hellgren. Anabolic Boys made a substitution. Andreas Bergfelt replaced Gustaf Gulliksson. Anabolic Boys's Reine Wennerström was substituted for Viktor Josefsson. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Staffan Rolandsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reine Wennerström's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. The audience was convinced that Reine Wennerström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Anabolic Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Bergfelt didn't get a good kick on the ball.
