Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Rafa Alves put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. 25 minutes into the match, Rafa Alves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafa Alves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 郭俊景 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rafa Alves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. After 38 minutes, Rafa Alves made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Rafa Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72ndth minute of the game Rafa Alves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafa Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafa Alves didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-6 via right post in the game's 75th minute. MUSHIBA FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Rafa Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. MUSHIBA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafa Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafa Alves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. If Rafa Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafa Alves scored 0-8 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
