Blue Beast were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tjorven Caspers took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Hendrickx in the 44th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonio Cempeners went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Antonio Cempeners notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
