Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kalle Askberg. Sundborn IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Kalle Askberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 13th minute of play. Kalle Askberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Kalle Askberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalle Askberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado. 23 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kalle Askberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Erland Kvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sundborn IF's Kalle Askberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alf Hansson got free with Rolando Noboa in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalle Askberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kalle Askberg. After a defensive mix-up in Sundborn IF's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kalle Askberg came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Sundborn IF's Sven-Olof Stephansson got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Kalle Askberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. After the first half Peru were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Sundborn IF made a substitution. Heigo Valt replaced Henning Bennet. The wind increased when Ted Holmgren made the kick off in the second half. Heigo Valt made in the 53rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sven-Olof Stephansson immediately put the ball in play. The throw-in from Heigo Valt in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 55 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Erland Kvist came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kalle Askberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 57th minute of play. In the 66th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalle Askberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sundborn IF getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Steven Verhaeghen hit a great ball. Sundborn IF made a substitution. Aqşin Aläkbärov replaced Jan Håning. In the 73rd match minute, Sundborn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Verhaeghen to maneuver through the defense. Kalle Askberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 76th minute of play. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. A collision led to Sundborn IF getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Bernardo Pitta hit a great ball. Rafael Gallo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Kalle Askberg made a huge save. In the 90th minute, Aqşin Aläkbärov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The supporters of Peru booed when Sundborn IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Pitta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute, Rafael Gallo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Peru played a much better game than Sundborn IF and deserved their victory. The Sundborn IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
