An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 5th minute of play forced BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Franco Szczęsny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th match minute, BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukasz Piekarczyk to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Ion Dulgherescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Ion Dulgherescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franco Szczęsny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After some careless play in the BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- defense, Cassius Byrne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franco Szczęsny. The BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franco Szczęsny should have stopped the shot. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Zielezinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andre Loodus in the 27th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ion Dulgherescu to make the kick off. In the 75th minute USA were awarded a corner. Monty Rogers went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 77th match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Bradley to maneuver through the defense. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. Diego Bradley kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celio Oton in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Keno De Bruyne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Day was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Franco Szczęsny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sam Campbell in the 84th minute. The supporters of USA booed when BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizão Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jenson Smith struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Franco Szczęsny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. The audience was convinced that Celio Oton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. A collision led to BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Afonso da Silveira hit a great ball. Many of USA's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. USA may have spent more time on the ball, but BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
