The Memphis Grizzlies fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mattias Sawyer should have stopped the shot. With his leg Mattias Sawyer managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Chile's Mariano Lacasa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 17th minute of play forced Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Mattias Sawyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Orlando Casaus hit a great ball. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Mattias Sawyer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. 27 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Stuart Banks came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mattias Sawyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 52nd minute of play. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, Jack Greenfield got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 76 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mattias Sawyer was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Mattias Sawyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
