In the 4th match minute, Vajka FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Szarka to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute Pál Túri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominik Szoboszlai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. In the 15th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Yakut Bergin. Vajka FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Jónás Edelényi's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jónás Edelényi helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vajka FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Vajka FC booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giorgos Charisteas got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Dominik Szoboszlai came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vajka FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abraham Alguacil was slow to take the kick. During this time Panama's players had a chance to rest. Jose Carita was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 36thth minute of the game Dominik Szoboszlai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Dominik Szoboszlai sent off a good shot on target. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Attila Takács hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Abraham Alguacil kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Panama's Dylan Sarmiento got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Vajka FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Yakut Bergin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the game, Panama's Miguel Miralles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yakut Bergin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Aaron Barrios hit a great ball. Pál Túri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcos Cotilla. Panama's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 58 minutes Panama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pál Túri who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Vajka FC's corner Pál Túri fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcos Cotilla quite easily take care of the ball. Yakut Bergin was a little too slow when Tomas Berganza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-4. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Yakut Bergin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Attila Takács went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Yakut Bergin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Panama were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Vajka FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Alguacil took the corner. In the 85th minute, Alex Cambeiro made a precise shot to the right of Yakut Bergin. Vajka FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Pál Túri sped through Panama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Szoboszlai in the 96th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panama's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
