Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Robinho Bittencourt made the kick off and thus started the match. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robinho Bittencourt in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Cássio Amaral made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Gurdurão's Bruninho Novaes got a free kick in the 15th minute. Tomas Illescas in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cássio Amaral, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 19th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Amaral having to interfere. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cássio Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robinho Bittencourt went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Venezuela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gurdurão were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cássio Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cássio Amaral having to make a save. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Gurdurão defense, Patricio Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cássio Amaral. The Gurdurão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cássio Amaral should have stopped the shot. Cássio Amaral came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Cássio Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 79th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cássio Amaral saved Gurdurão from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Venezuela fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gurdurão had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
