In the 15th match minute, Barrialito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandros Peropoulos to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Alexandros Peropoulos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-0. The supporters of Barrialito AFC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Conrado Txordon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Guillermo Mariano made in the 41st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tomas Illescas however managed to control. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Alexandros Peropoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexandros Peropoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexandros Peropoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandros Peropoulos in the 52nd minute of the match. After 54 minutes, Alexandros Peropoulos made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Aquiles Beat made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. 87 minutes into the match, Aquiles Beat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquiles Beat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Aquiles Beat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrialito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquiles Beat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miroslav Klöser kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Aquiles Beat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
