Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Diego Milito started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Marcos Cotilla didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 6th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro López got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Taurino in the 13th minute of the match. Bonifacio Petrigai hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute of the match Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abel Neron showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 16th minute of the match Panama got a corner. Deportivo Balvanera's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Abraham Alguacil almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Deportivo Balvanera's Abel Neron did a great save. Abel Neron didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Berganza went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the match, Lisandro López dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla, 2-1. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute of the match Deportivo Balvanera got a corner. Panama's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marciano Koldobika ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Panama's goalie and right to Severiano Taurino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Panama's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 28thth minute of the game Severiano Taurino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute, Deportivo Balvanera's Diego Milito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. In the 37th minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Neron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Lisandro López recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla. Lisandro López showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Diego Milito's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Milito helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Panama booed when Deportivo Balvanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Milito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 49thth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Balvanera's Abel Neron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. Abel Neron made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute Lisandro López shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Severiano Taurino notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Jakes in the 72nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Diego Milito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Milito in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. When Deportivo Balvanera's Diego Milito in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Panama's goalie prevented a goal. In the 83rd match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Koldobika to maneuver through the defense. Abel Neron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Deportivo Balvanera's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
